At last weekend's Essence Festival at the Superdome in New Orleans, Lionel Ritchie reunited with members of his legendary Mowtown band, The Commodores, to perform several of their classics, including "Brick House" and "Just to Be Close to You".

The final night of the festival stretched well into early Monday, with performances by Richie, En Vogue, Teena Marie, Al Green and Maze, featuring Frankie Beverly.
