Actor, Noah Wyle, has been cast in Spielberg's new sci-fi series for TNT. He will be playing, "the leader of a rag-tag group of soldiers and civilians as they struggle against an occupying alien force."  Spielberg is the executive producer as well as the writer on this one.  Noah Wyle is best known for roles in "The Librarian" and "ER".
