The Black Crowes have recorded two new albums for release in the fall. "Before the Frost..." will be released on September 1st. Fans who buy the record will receive a special download code to get the second Crowes album, "...Until the Freeze". Both albums were recorded lat Levon's Helm (The Band) studios in Woodstock, NY and produced by Paul Stacey, who also produced "The Lost Crowes" and "Warpaint". A small group of fans were fortunate enough to witness the recording process in person. The two albums' 20 songs (19 originals plus a cover of Stephen Sills' "So Many Times", will also be released on vinyl on Sept 1st. Commenting on the album, Crowes frontman Chris Robinson said, "I think we fulfilled a musical commitment to continue on the golden road of artistic independence. Approaching 20 years into our careers, we still are ambitious enough to push ourselves to create something unique that we have never done before."
