Kiss made a special appearance on  "American Idol" last night. Finalist Adam Lambert began his performance with the Kiss classic ballad "Beth". Then Kiss came out and played "Detroit Rock City" and "Rock and Roll All Nite", with Lambert joining in - with gold platform boots on.  According to Newsday.com, "guitars [got] destroyed, fire [flew], and Adam close[d] with his trademark scream, looking right at home (gold platform boots and all). Audience [went] nuts."
