The actor is set to play an assassin in "A Very Private Gentleman" for Focus Features.

Also, in the works is, "Men Who Stare At Goats", in which Clooney will portray " an ex-member of a secret US Army unit that used paranormal tactics."  Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges will also star in the flick.
