Slayer, according to a report on Rollingstone.com, is slaving away in the studio, working on what will be an eleven song record due out in July. Rick Rubin, the man who produced the album many consider the greatest thrash album of all time, "Reign In Blood", is pegged as the executive producer. The band's longtime guitarist commented on their progress, "Why do I write this shit at my age? It's fucking brutal, it's exciting to be part of it and I'm excited to be writing this heavy fucking shit. It's still in the blood."
