Tracii Guns, the original guitarist for L.A. Guns, has named Scott Foster Harris as singer for his new band called THE TRACII GUNS LEAGUE OF GENTLEMEN. Recently there have been two separate lineups touring as L.A. Guns. One is fronted by Tracii, while the other features his ex-bandmates, singer Phil Lewis and drummer Steve Riley. Riley commented in Rolling Stone Magazine, "Tracii's L.A. GUNS is bogus, people want to hear the songs sung by the original lead singer." When asked about Riley's comments, Guns said, "Those guys are a couple of dirty motherfuckers. I hired them for my band if you get hired as a manager at McDonald's, you don't take over the McDonald's." Guns tells Rolling Stone that he plans on suing to get the name back and added, "I just want to put it to bed and start a new band."
