Aerosmith will embark on their first tour in nearly 2 years in June with ZZ Top. The band's guitarist Joe Perry talked to The Pulse of Radio about the tour. "To follow them is gonna be a mouthful every night, and I know it's gonna kick us into overdrive," he said. "That sounds like a cliche, but when you play with a band like that we'll be out listening a lot 'cause I love them. I always have...they just got it, man. We got our work cut out for us, and the audience gets the benefit. They really win."
Meanwhile the band has decided to delay their new album which would be their first since 2004's "Honkin' On Bobo". The delay is necessitated by Perry having problems with his re-constructed knee and singer Steven Tyler coming down with pneumonia. They plan on resuming work on the album with producer Brendan O'Brien after the tour with ZZ Top.
Only two dates have been announced for the tour so far. Click Here to see the dates and check back in the coming days as we will post more dates as they are announced.
