Queensryche has scheduled a live acoustic set for its hometown fans in Seattle. The show will take place April 4th, at Silver Platters (Queen Anne), 701 5th Avenue North in Seattle. On march 31st, via Atco/Rhino Records, the band will release "American Soldier". The album, Queensryche's 12th, is a tribute to vetarans of wars from World War 2 to Desert Storm. The album was written by Geoff Tate after interviewing dozens of war veterans. His intent was to tell their stories in song through the use of their own words.
