Motley Crue are planning on hitting the road again after their mildly successful summer Crue Fest Tour. The new North American tour will begin in San Diego, CA on February 2, 2009 at Cox Arena and will come to an end on March 18th in Portland, Maine at the Cumberland County Civic Center.
The tour will consist of more than twenty five shows and will feature Guitar Center On Stage winner Last Vegas as an opener along with Hinder and Theory of a Deadman.
Tickets will run twenty-five to seventy-five dollars and will go on sale November 21st.
Crue Fest generated a gross of more than sixteen million dollars, playing to over six hundred thousand people in forty plus cities. The tour is in support of the band's first release in ten years entitled Saints of Los Angeles. To date, the record has sold 236,000 copies in the US.
After the band completes the North American tour, they will go back on the road in the summer visiting European cities this time, only to once again return to the States for more Crue Fest touring beginning in July and going through September. At this time, it is not known who will be hitting the road with the band.
