On October 14th, the world will finally hear the first release from Queen, with former Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers. The album is going to be called The Cosmos Rocks and it will be Queen's first release since 95's Made in Heaven. And to think, this all began with Queen asking Rodgers to perform with them at the bands induction into the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
Rodgers commented to Rolling Stone, "It was amazing how seamlessly our different styles fit together. We came offstage really buzzed about it and said, Let’s do some more."
Fast forward a few months and Rodgers and Queen are playing to packed stadiums worldwide. Then a year ago, the band came together at Queen drummer Roger Taylor's estate to begin The Cosmos Rocks sessions.
