Tommy Lee Wants Johnny Depp to Play Him in Crue Movie

Undercover News is reporting that Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee says he would like for Johnny Depp to play him in the film based on their 2001 memoir, The Dirt.  Lee stated, "Johnny Depp would be my choice to play me. He's the best ever."

The movie seemed to be falling into place, however, recently MTV, who was funding the project, pulled out.  According to Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, they are currently looking for the "right partner".

Johnny would have to do blow for ten years in order to get into Tommy's mind.

More like they will have a bunch of no name actors wearing bad wigs.  Did anyone see the Def Leppard movie.  There you go.

OMG! JOHNNY DEPP would be great...but isn't he a bit old to play him as a young rock star?  I think it will be fun to see it made into a movie.  Casting it will be interesting.

I loved the book!  It will make a great flick.  Brad Pitt could be Vince. What a dream!!

I think Daniel Day Lewis would be better as Tommy Lee...Johnny Depp as Nikki, Steve Buscemi as Mick and Courtney Love could be Vince...

The film needs younger guys, too.  What a challenge. Their best bet would be to get actors who are musicians.
