Here's a report from Ron Keel on the storm that tore through Rocklahoma on Saturday:
"I'm sure by now many have seen the devastation caused by the severe storm that hit Rocklahoma yesterday. We are OK - I haven't heard a comprehensive injury report, but rumours of broken bones abound. It's a miracle that no one was killed when both the North and South stages collapsed at around 6 pm - we were in the tent right next to the North stage doing a meet & greet when the disaster struck, and the stage collapsed into the tent.
It's 1:30 pm Sunday right now, and we are en route to the event site. I have been told that makeshift stages have been erected and that the acts scheduled to perform on the North and South stages will go on as scheduled - some of these acts have already headed home, but Ron Keel and K2 came to play and if it's at all possible to do so without compromising anyone's safety we plan to do so.
In all my years of touring and performing, I've never experienced anything like what we went through yesterday. I will post a detailed account of the experience, plus photos of the damage and a wrap-up report, when we get back home on Tuesday. Right now I just want everyone to know that we're all allright, the show will go on, and I want to thank all the guys on the crew and the staff who have busted their asses and risked life and limb during this ordeal."
