Sonic Youth will perform in Battery Park in Manhattan on July 4 and the concert is free to attend. A very rare appearance by The Feelies will open the show. The show is part of the River to River Festival and also a celebration of WFMU's 50 years on the air. Reservations will go live on the River to River site on June 12th at NOON. There's a limit of two tickets per person, and they'll be gone fast. After your reservation is in, you'll be given info on where/when to get your passes (to be picked up BEFORE July 4th).
