Chris Brown, Drake Sued Over NYC Nightclub Brawl

R&B stars Chris Brown and Drake were named in a lawsuit filed Wednesday over a nightclub brawl in New York's Greenhouse nightclub in June.  The lawsuit was filed by Entertainment Enterprises Limited, which owns the trademark for the Greenhouse name, and is seeking $16 million alleging the brawl has hurt the name and hindered the company's efforts to license the name to other clubs around the country.  The plaintiff claims that it was the performers' entourages that caused the fight, and Drake and Brown should be held responsible because they were essentially in charge of the men involved.  "It's their posse, and they're in charge, and to the extent that they could have controlled or dissipated whatever was going on, we don't believe they did," read a statement from an attorney representing Entertainment Enterprises Ltd.  The club's owners, who are not involved in the suit against Brown and Drake, are continuing to battle separate suits from those injured in the brawl, including a $20 million claim from San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker.  Greenhouse was shut down for several weeks after the brawl, and its owners are also battling with New York state liquor authorities who are trying to pull the club's liquor license.
