John Mayer appears on the verge of coming in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart when the list comes out on Thursday.  If "Born and Raised" does top the chart, it will mark the first time in Mayer's career that he has had a record top the chart for more than one week, as it debuted atop the chart last week.  Mayer previously topped the Billboard chart with both "Heavier Things" and "Battle Studies," but each only held the spot for their first week of release.
