As he struggles to overcome a throat condition called granuloma, John Mayer is on pace for some good news next week as his latest album, "Born and Raised," is on pace to sell between 220,000 and 240,000 copies in its first week of release, putting it on target to land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 next week.  If the set does top the Billboard chart, it would be Mayer's third set to reach the Billboard pinnacle.
