Country superstar Taylor Swift took home three awards at the American Music Awards Sunday night, including the coveted Artist of the Year honors, giving her a total of ten AMAs for her career. Swift's haul was part of a night dominated by the ladies, as Nicki Minaj beat out Lil' Wayne and Kanye West for Favorite Rap-Hip-Hop Artist, and pop superstar Katy Perry was recognized with a special achievement award for scoring five No. 1 hits from her "Teenage Dream" album, a first for a female artist.
