Sony Legacy announced Sunday its Danzig greatest hits compilation titled "The Essential Danzig" will arrive in stores September 25th.  The label did not, however, reveal the tracklisting or any further details.  Meanwhile, Danzig is preparing for a series of shows in October when he will perform songs spanning his illustrious career, including his time as the frontman for punk-rock pioneers the Misfits and Samhain.
