Kurt Cobain Memorial Unveiled In Aberdeen, Washington


A memorial to Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain has been unveiled in a part in the singer's hometown of Aberdeen, Washington.  The memorial, a sculpture in the shape of a guitar, was revealed during a dedication ceremony on Tuesday, which marked the 17th anniversary of Cobain's death by suicide.  The statue was placed in a park close to the Young Street bridge where Cobain spent much of his time as a child.  The bridge is also well-known to to its reference by Cobain in the song, "Something In  the Way."
