Speaking to a group of students at the University of Scotland, Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson announced the group would be reuniting for a new album and a tour. Manson also said that the band had already laid down a couple of songs with former Nrivana producer Butch Vig. Manson did not offer any dates for when an album would be released or a tour would start.
