Floyd Mayweather Jr was arrested in Las Vegas. The felony theft charge stems from a domestic violence claim made by Josie Harris, Mayweather's ex-girlfriend and mother of three of his children.

The boxer is accused of taking an iPhone from Harris and it just so happens that Nevada law calls for a grand-larceny charge when the goods in question are valued at $250 or more.

Mayweather's lawyer, Richard Wright told the Associated Press, "He did not commit any grand larceny.......Josie can't find her iPhone. We're attempting to find it or replace it. We'll cooperate in the investigation. We expect to get the matter resolved."
